vectrix_blueIntroducing the Vectrix Maxi Electric Motorcycle – a revolution for urban commuters.

It’s the world’s first high powered electric two wheel vehicle designed specifically to compete with large, petrol-powered motorbikes. It offers breathtaking acceleration, low running costs, minimal maintenance, simple operation, low noise, and zero emissions.

The Vectrix Maxi Scooter is the perfect solution for urban commuters. Its top speed of 68 mph and rapid acceleration make it easy and safe to zip in and out of traffic.

The onboard charger plugs into any standard electrical outlet to quickly charge the batteries. With ample storage and a long range, the maxi-scooter will more than satisfy your commuting and recreational needs.

Vectrix uses innovative zero-emission technology to offer a clean, quiet, and much needed alternative to existing petrol powered, two-wheel vehicles. The performance is in many ways similar to a 400cc petrol bike with a top speed of 62 mph, 0 – 50 mph in 6.8 seconds. It has excellent handling due to the low centre of gravity, stiff frame, and even weight distribution.

It is easy to use by simply twisting the throttle for instant, smooth acceleration. There are no gears.

During breaking the regenerative breaking system both slows the bike and redirects energy back into the battery pack, extending the range by up to 12%.

vectrix_2The slow speed reverse function helps parking and the on board charger means you simply have to plug it into a 13 amp socket to re-charge. The under-seat compartment easily accommodates a full size helmet and more.

There is a separate glove compartment, and a top box is available. The Vectrix is environmentally friendly with zero emissions at the point of use, and virtually no noise.

The motorbike is cheap to run. Electricity costs about 5% of the cost of petrol. It is almost maintenance free as most key components are sealed and need no maintenance. There is no chain, only 11 moving parts, no oil or filters to replace.

Insurance is low (about the same as insuring as 125cc bike), your road tax disc is free with electric and there is free parking in most towns. In congested areas it really can dramatically cut the time of your commute.

This bike is currently used by The AA, the NHS, and the Police. And it is not just the reliability and cost which attracts people. Eddie Jordan and Damon Hill both drive Vectrix. It’s a lot of fun!

You can get a bike from as little as £4195 new, or good low mileage used bikes from £2195 - see special offers page or call us.
